Checking Sitemeter

FYI: I've started a new system of defusing possible goofball searchers returning because of the funny searches
I've posted. Henceforth,
*=A
#=E
!=I
0=O
^=U
Fun searches:
  • still getting a few looking for the ponytailed chick I deleted awhile back; the googlebots have started checking new sites, at last, thank God
  • an image search for Picasso's mother & child painting
  • "Irene McIntosh" [someone for whom I'll do all the publicity in the world: she is the Queen of Volunteers, and should be recognized for this throughout the country]
  • J0hnny Gage ch*llenger [there is no relation between these two whatsoever--totally different entries]
  • cat access to basement [I access my basement frequently--it's cooler down there nowadays! a.k.a. "QUOTES, PEOPLE!"]
  • abegg-0-rama [I read a book by someone named "Abegg" but otherwise...this one is just weird]
  • rhapsody hearing aids [how ironic]--twice
  • this is the sound of my soul i know this much is true [on the right track...more or less...but I don't like SB that much, not enough to print all their lyrics, and certainly not in German!]
  • diberv!lle v*lunteer f*undation [again, I say: go, work, feel good]
  • J*mes L#pr# [hmmm, he's a famous guy I guess]
  • this much is true [yup, 'tis]
  • r#n# f*ss married [another author of a book, tied to a completely unrelated post]
  • L0s Kumb!a K!ngs Funniest vide0 [four separate posts....SIGH!]
  • Jl0/fl*shdance c0urt c*se [WTF?! Four separate posts AND I don't think I've ever mentioned that particular singer....wishing as I do that she'd fall off the planet posthaste]
  • Accroches-toi a ton reve language [uhhhh...? Oh, yeah: lyrics]
  • j0kes, ann0ying l!brary patr0ns [I only do a few of these; for a real roundup, see my "Library Fun" blogroll at left]
  • the image of my favorite cookies...I'm not the only junkie!
  • water water everywhere but not a drop to drink+poem [searched in Google's Blog Search Beta--and yes, I've quoted it]
  • h0w much dre*ms are true? [how much you know grammar?]
  • Sweet Dreams Quote [why choose my blog to answer this?]
  • ph0tos of p*t da!ly in cinnam0n c*se' [ok, dude/dudette: this is weird and you'll never find what you need without QUOTES!]
  • sh*ntell thomas0n [don't know her: try quotes]
  • char!table functi0n st*rt [what? The interesting thing here is that once my page was found with that search, the person translated it into Chinese. Bummer]
  • j^le sant*na dr0p a c0uple p0unds lyr!cs [no freakin' clue...just...well, QUOTES!]
  • "Sc*n This B00k" kelly [hey, look: quotes! wrong site to choose, however]
  • The Ch0c0late W*r Cens0rship [ = stupid...well, censorship in general = stupid]
  • "b*ghd*d burn!ng" true 0r fiction [depends on your point of view, I suppose]
  • leg casts [searched in Blogger's blogsearch--found me at number one]
  • BEACH TOWELS WITH TRACTORS [uhhh.....NO!!!]
  • several searches that found the Henry VII image that I deleted about 5 months ago....

World Map breakdown:
U.S. searches predominate, of course, with 72 visits running from Anchorage, AK to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and from San Francisco to Boston.
Three Canadians visited, spanning the width of the country.
Europeans visited 20 times: four Brits, three Dutch, one Belgian, two from the same town in Germany (??), one Swiss, three Spaniards, one Portuguese, one Frenchy, and three Poles.
Three Asians encompassing two Indians (one of whom at least began an email to me), and a Chinese.
One Israeli and one Aussie round it out.

The longest visit was my Indian friend at nearly 30 minutes. There were actually only 16 visits lasting over one minute; the other 84 folks apparently figured out they didn't want to be here after all.

And that's the latest from Lake Wobegone.
