Here there be dragons

There is nothing like having your kid gesture in your face while in the car with you at a drive through and then ask, "What's a sh0cker?" Not being on that page of the parenting manual, I look at him in puzzlement, then see the gesture.

Vamping for time, I say, "Why?"

The reply, "I saw this on Wikipedia today at school, but I didn't get to read it. I just saw the photo." By the way, it's not the one attached to this post: I just find this photo hysterically funny.

Stalled, I say, "Uhh, don't search that again at school. And, uh, yeah, I know what it means, and no, I'm not telling you because...uh, just don't." Reduced to monosyllables.
