Health ?

OK, here's the deal: this year my various family parts will be supporting hospitals and medical facilities all over the country.

I didn't get this memo. I don't think any of us did, except for Mom's move to a nursing home.

Beast's dad is still in the hospital in Ohio. Again. We briefly thought that the infection in his leg might, because of his diabetes, cause him to lose the leg. That seems less than likely now, everything staying equal.

And, yeah, the niece...sigh...is back in the hospital here. They are watching her for a pulmonary embolism, her heart is enlarged because of the extra fluid her body's retaining--though her kidneys are improving--and she has been coughing for two weeks, getting worse and worse. [By the way, I've gone back and added names, so you can just start calling her Katherine.]

So. I need to call her. And send out the alarms to family members. My sister, Marie, is fading; she admitted tonight that she's been having heart pains and she's physically tired in a way she hasn't been in years. They are scheduled to go home Saturday, where she can relax (relatively speaking--pun intended) and deal with Mom's healthcare.
