Blah Saturday

All right. So today was Z-Day. I've started medicating myself for winter.

Beast was at DV & Arch's house helping them get the basement ready for drywall. He left at 8:20 and he won't get home for another hour (around 7:30). But I guess they are nearly done, so that's good.

Sparky was packing boxes for Christmas Child today at church. I took him over at 9 and went back at noon to get him...only to find out that they weren't done, wouldn't be done, hadn't said anything about noon...he just made up a time to tell me. I was pretty horked.

Meanwhile, the freezer was leaking water all over the basement (semi-intenionally--it needed to be defrosted, but not all over the carpet!), and the computer hasn't been working right since last night. I also found out exactly where I stand with one person in the "consortial" mix, someone I didn't trust at all but tolerated because he seemed likeable enough. No more of the latter. Shitfink assface.

Just to be clear, and I need to remember this, put NOTHING in emails.

I did get all my receipts entered into our accounts, did a couple of loads of laundry, made DV's shower invites (except for the date, time, and location--hey, I made them with cardstock and stamps and the ink needs to dry!), and rearranged all the prescription pill bottles in the kitchen. Eventually, the laptop got its act back together and I spent 2 hours searching for misspellings in The Perfect Catalog. Shock: it's not perfect.

Just had my first real food of the day--lasagna--and we've moved from the Top 100 '80s Songs (on VH1) to Mythbusters (on Discovery). They're talking about kilo-ohms. My son is a huge geek, and no, I don't know what a kilo-ohm is. But I am very familiar with Zoloft and Fun-Size Snickers bars.
