Working day

Most of the time on Saturdays, I work at my desk uninterrupted for 7 or 8 hours. Today, Crazy Cat Lady is still on vacation (i.e. sitting at home), so I'm on the desk for 4 hours. This wouldn't really be a problem--though I'd surely gripe about it, of course!--except that we have tickets for Beast's company picnic/AAA baseball game day. We need to be at the stadium (heh, think small, ok?) by 5:45 to get any food from the picnic, it's an hour from here, and the library closes at 5. Hmmmm, do you see a problem here?

I've already asked if I can leave a little early, but we'll have to see if it's busy in the afternoon today at all. Here's hoping it isn't.

And in line with all that, here's today's blessing:
May your own hospitality inspire others to greater generosities,
and your heart skip and dance with joy.
Whether you call upon God, Allah, Sat Nam, Buddha, or Nature, all of life is sacred. Treat it so.
Play and laugh.
OK, I guess I get to play with the patrons today.... hee hee hee.
