Thursday

I woke up early this morning--around 5:30--after Beast left for Fargo (or, effing-Fargo, take your pick) at 5. Technically, that's when he left for the airport to fly to Fargo....details.

I got up and checked emails, did my usual memey stuff first thing, played "The Urbz" and raced around getting dressed so I could take Sparky to the rec. dept. He's off with a bunch of other middle-school guys doing lazertag, wall-climbing, arcade games.... Went back home, played more "Urbz" and then raced around changing clothes for work (and staring at my hair in the mirror--shrug--it's just that kind of day). I have earrings in my ears and a belt on my pants. That's the best I could do today in terms of pulling it together.

I've had fuck-all to eat today: a large glass of DDP this morning, a slice of bakery bread with marg on it, and 25 shelled pistachios.

I'm quite hungry. [make sure you read that with appropriate fear in your mental voice]

Listened a Melissa Etheridge CD ("Brave and Crazy") on the way into work, one I haven't listened to in about 2 years. Why? Cuz I'm dumb. It's a good one. I should fill in the gaps in my ME collection. She is a treasure.

Now I'm trying to keep my fingers on the right keys of the keyboard so you don't have to read things like "teh" and "ot" and "riht" and "Thrusday" -- after dealing with people's problems immediately upon my arrival, late, at noon ("No Inventory Sheets Left!!" "Barcodes on These Two Kits Are Switched!" [actually, one was never entered at all] "I Found the Lyrics to That Song!" "This Woman Yesterday, ooooooooh She Pissed Me Off...!"), and reminding myself that I really enjoy this.

It's a lovely day outside, and later I get to drive around in it some more listening to loud music. I'm easy to please, aren't I?
