I found this in my gmailbox on Friday. I've quoted it in full with deletions noted:

Dear Mr. Fort[...],

I received your application as a meat technician only today. I already employed 4 of the applicants which are starting during the next three weeks.
Please phone me around middle of August O21 95[#####] Gastro[...].
By that time I might need additional people.

"Meat technician"?? My immediate thought, even before reading the signature, was of one specific individual I know-but-not-really.

And the dude's NAME! Who could possibly make this shit up?
