I'm the cataloger, right?

Here's my weekly report to the boss for the last couple of weeks:

FRIDAY Nov. 25:
  • Cataloged demand orders
  • Reclassed Dead Deweys (pulled over a month ago!)
  • Ran reports for [Grant Guy]
  • Cataloged a few new items
  • Email / Listserves
  • SCHEDULED at Ref for four hours.
TUESDAY Nov. 29:
  • Cataloged new items
  • [Midyear] Review
  • Email / Listserves / Bloglines
  • Found Anime subject heading--WOOT!
  • Miscellaneous fixes (titles, locations, etc.)
  • SCHEDULED at Ref for one hour, and just long enough in J for [Schedule Nazi] to finish reviews.
WEDNESDAY Nov. 30:
  • Cataloged on OCLC for 5 hours.
  • Email / Listserves / Bloglines
  • SCHEDULED at J for one hour.
THURSDAY Dec. 1:
  • Entered Demand order card info.
  • Did the usual end-of-the-month statistical stuff.
  • SCHEDULED at Circ for one hour.
SATURDAY Dec. 2:
  • Miscellaneous fire-fighting : fly box, helping [former cataloger] with questions (Millennium and OCLC), filing, collection development, etc.
  • SCHEDULED at Ref for one hour and Circ (backup) for one hour.
TUESDAY Dec. 6:
  • Personal Day
WEDNESDAY Dec. 7:
  • Worked through holdings notes for newspapers with [serials person]. They should be showing now.
  • As a result of this, I now have a list of the old newspapers that I think should go into the catalog with similar holdings notes. Yes? I’ll look for records in OCLC (wish me luck!).
  • Helped [Grant Guy] out with statistical stuff.
  • Printed off documentation for next week's meetings.
  • Cataloged demand order.
  • Ran report of [our] card[holder]s with no gender. Fixed the three that were actually people, then I ran it again not limited to [our cards]. There are TONS! I’m going to suggest to [the Gs] that [they], or the individual libraries, might want to clean them up!
  • Fixed kits so leader [line, in OCLC] shows them as kits, not books.
  • SCHEDULED at J for one hour.
THURSDAY Dec. 8:
  • Processed the rest of the Demand material.
  • Prepped for meeting in [Big City to the West].
  • Meeting (left at 11:30)
FRIDAY Dec. 9:
  • Photocopied handouts from yesterday's meeting for Amy and [my boss].
  • Prepped for Monday's meeting.
  • Entered Demand order cards.
  • Cleaned out the fax box, and rechecked all the old picklists (a week's worth!), which meant sending out about 10 items.
  • Updated Items Added spreadsheet, adding November.
  • [System] returns [sorted into bins for delivery guy].
  • SCHEDULED AT Ref for 4 hours
I've highlighted the actual cataloging stuff. My job is to catalog. In the course of the past couple of weeks, I sure haven't done much. Sigh....
