Remember our staff hypochondriac? She is taking a week off next week. And a week off in December. And she took a week in September. And she's been sick for probably a total of at least 2 more full weeks this year.
And she just asked me to keep one of her daily projects up-to-date while she's gone. I'm afraid I very briskly said, "Well, I'll do my best, but I'm still trying to catch up from last week when I wasn't able to do any of my work because I was at the Reference Desk all week. No one does any of my projects while I'm gone; it all just waits." She didn't get it. At all.
Then there's good ol' CT. The entire day she's been nothing but a peach. Gripe gripe gripe. [not that I've been any better]
I'm so glad I won't be here next week....till Wednesday.
