How can this be?

I put 75 miles on my truck in the past 24 hours....doing errands.

And somehow I've finally managed to finish "Shoah." Beast is annoyed with me for not bringing the DVDs home when he's around. As if, between us, we could find 9 hours to watch anything on TV. ;-)

And, by the way, my mother-in-law has had her shoulder surgery (the entire joint ended up being replaced, ball as well as socket, on Tuesday morning). She is being released tomorrow morning, and the doctor says that she should be able to be doing her regular schedule right away. Now, if we could just convince her that knee surgery is just as uncomplicated....hah!!

Beast should be home Friday afternoon at the latest. Hallelujah!
