Glowing home

I caught up with Bloglines, the professional reading, part today. Except for the local blogs (in-system). Yes, too true, we have system blogs. Wow.

I cataloged a little, but mostly the day was spent having my midyear review and plotzing through the blogs, reposting a bit and so forth.

What, by the way, has happened to Blogger's ability to set the date and time on the posts?? Oops, nevermind, I just found the "Post and Comment Options" clickable thingy down there at the bottom of the post window.

So. I'm going home. As I just emailed Someone...it's time to fix New Food for my family, after 4 days of leftovers and pizza. Chicken-something.

And I have to finish two lessons of I Samuel before Bible Study tomorrow night. It's quite tedious: all about battle strategy and bloodshed. Gotta love that OT God. Well, actually, you don't; the key is respect. And that's why Sparky got his skinny ass nailed to the wall last night (again) in the midst of me trying to figure out why Saul (in the Bible) couldn't get his act together. I got snark from the 12-year-old, just like God got snark from Saul. Too ironic. Another reminder that God puts up with a lot from us adolescents down here on earth.

Ciao.

[P.S. I've got the new Gabaldon book to take home. That might be another reason I'm in a good mood.]
