Remember last year...?

Last year, we got to listen to loud booms on a regular basis in the weeks leading up to the Fourth:
"It's a peaceful night...
...except for the pyros down the block exploding fucking BOMBS in trash cans in their backyard... "
"FUCKING PYROS ARE BLOWING UP GARBAGE CANS DOWN THE ROAD!!
SORRY--I JUST JUMPED ABOUT 3 FEET. THE BOY EVEN NOTICED THE BANG."

But this year, there are houses on both sides of them, with people living in them. Silly us, we thought that meant they'd reduce the blasting.

It's just been confirmed, however: we live about half a block from terrorists. They have found a way to make a BIGGER BETTER LOUDER bomb. And so, for the next two weeks, at least, we are all going to listen to them setting their yard, their kids, their fence...and possible their neighbors' houses...on fire.

#($&%!(^@* rednecks.

Where's the phone number for the sheriff's department.....? Grumble grumble

[Just as I finished typing this, they set off another boom: two in less than half an hour. Yippee.]
