Pretty things

• The moon last night around 9:15 was amazing! Huge and red, then huge and white. The night before last I went to sleep with the curtains open with the moon keeping watch over me.
• As I was driving to work today, a cardinal flew across the road in front of me. I didn't grow up with cardinals; they are so unnaturally red against green foliage.
• The fireflies are out at night now, too! Something else we didn't have growing up. (so deprived)

I have to keep these in mind. Life is getting complicated again. There are just too many minor annoyances around trying to keep my focus off the important, lovely parts of life.
