Lightweight, fluffy....yep, comin' up

Mood: Good (I get to leave early today since I was here for 10 hours yesterday!)
Hair: Braid (out)

Interesting books that have crossed my desk today:
The Beader's Guide to Color (for those beaders out there)
Prodigal Sons and Material Girls : How Not to Be Your Child's ATM (for me & the Beast--'nuff said)
Uninteresting books that have crossed my desk today: about fifty (say it with me) SKINNY BOOKS.

Cold pizza for lunch is excellent.

Maine: The Beast's family has vacationed there regularly for over 40 years. The camps where they stayed most of the time are up for sale...well, two of the original five + lodge + extra buildings. The big chunk of land with all the buildings was split up and sold off about eight years ago, so this is a second sale. Wouldn't it be great to have two tiny cabins each about eight feet from Moosehead Lake? [It really looks like this too!]

Sounds fab (it's a great place if you like quiet silence). The price: $389,000. As Bill the Cat would say: Ack.

We, regretfully, will be passing up that "opportunity."

This just in: Dewey puts "cheerleading" in 791.64. No big thrill there. Except when you look in the schedules, that places it between "Pageants" (Religious and Historical/Patriotic are separate numbers) and "Animal Performances" including cockfighting.

ROFLMAO!!

Apropos of nothing else in this post: Hi, JT!
