Sick boys

I'm surrounded by them. One's got a cold, the other one has been crashed out with an upset stomach since 5:15. Good thing I had a meeting, or I would have had to be Nurse Nancy. Not my forte.

Got nothing done at work today except the reserves. Couldn't settle with anything at 12:30 when I finished. Part of the reason is because more information was fed into the database called "What is Going On at School" by the mom of a friend of Sparky's. This kid is also being berated, in his case because he's very bright and talks "nerdy." [come on, you all know what I mean!] He's a great kid. He doesn't want to go to school on Friendship Day because he "only has 3 friends." We've been hearing that all year at our house. This is so discouraging.

I'm going to go read about the thorn in Paul's side and try to amuse myself picturing him as the father of a Tween. Clearly if he'd lived today, his wife would have left him, giving him more ammo to use in his hatefulness-towards-women campaign. One can only hope that his Tween is a boy; imagine the damage he'd do to a daughter. On the other hand, she'd probably have him sewn up and willing to do anything for her. I know a few single dads of daughters like this... Anyway, Paul would never have time to write letters to his churches if he was a single dad. I don't have time to write letters to anyone and I'm NOT a single parent!

Levoxyl, toothbrush, jammies and bed with flashlight so as not to bother Sickie Hubby while I read.
