Meeting Hell

This is part of a summation I just received of yesterday's consortium meeting (to which, Thank GOD!, I was not invited):
The budget, which included over half a million dollars for staff to run [The New Software], was dealt with in 5 minutes. They then argued about the logo for an hour. Typical.
We have a logo. Why can't they just use what we've got?

Because these people can't handle big-picture stuff; it's much more manageable to argue over how many tufts of grass should be in a drawing. Is it any wonder the smart people are trying like hell to Get Out??

It's enough to make my head hurt.
