Snow

It snew yesterday.

A lot.

Beast's office was closed. School was closed. I was taking a scheduled personal day. Beast shoveled snow all day. Sparky and I watched CSI Season 6 and I Simmed.

Today I woke up with a headache--never a good sign--and followed the boys over to church. They 'greened' the sanctuary while I did a years' worth of Clerk of Session stuff. I still need to copy all the Session minutes and have them inspected--I'll call Monday and see if I can find a time to meet with the Stated Clerk of the Presbytery sometime this month [insert laugh here]. I really don't want to drive 2 hours to do this...but I missed ths scheduled dates in October.

I've made communion wafers for tomorrow and written about 5 of the 9 thank-yous from Session to a task force which recently finished its project.

I'm REALLY tired.

And tonight is Beast's Service Award Party...not a Christmas (or even a holiday) party, oh, no; that's not allowed in a multi-national company! Gack.

Sparky is outside with C. 'sledding.' Since we don't have a sled, I'm not sure what they are using, nor do I care. He informed me that his boots are too small. He was outside in the snow yesterday in his tennis shoes wading through snow, and wore sneakers to church this morning. It would have been good to know this while we were already running around this morning so that we could have stopped and bought him boots that fit. Anyone need size 10 mens' boots, barely used?

Beast is painting. I need to get back to the thank-yous.

Winter has arrived. Really.
