Mental Meanderings

I've caught up at work: there are just new 7 or 8 new things to catalog, and a great lot of DVDs we picked up when a local video store went out of business last summer. I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing now. It's kind of a nice feeling to look around at all the crap I haven't looked at in over 6 months.

Yesterday was my sister's 60th birthday...or it would have been. What a truly bizarre thought: Ellen at 60. I bet she'd still be a lot of fun.

This next year on Session is going to be a lot of fun. And a FUCK of a lot of work, of course. But there are some cool people coming on, and one person I have 'issues' with who is leaving. Fortunately, those issues have never gotten in the way of us working together.

Britney Spears: WTF? If you don't know why, you're better off.

The spare room is done. We need to wash and rehang the curtain and then it's totally ready for visitors. Hope those visitors like a lot of blue!

Almost all of the books I asked my LOCAL INDEPENDENT BOOKSELLER to order for me have arrived, and they are wrapped. I love these guys. Now I just have to buy ... uh ... everything else.

Sparky and Beast unpacked a few Christmas boxes tonight. The Christmas card list is staring at me from across the room. OK, actually, the BOX with the card list is starting at me from the dining room. It's starting to smell like Christmas...all those gingerbread candles...or, well, something.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? on BBC America is a wonderful show. Greg Proops is being verbally abused by the host throughout the show.

I've been up since 5:30 a.m. It's nearly 11. Why am I still awake?? Perhaps it's because I'm sitting in the living room on the couch rather than lying in my bed.
