New food: from the grocery store. Haven't gone for a massive stock-up shopping trip for awhile.
New problem: with Haloscan, which doesn't seem to be 'playing nice' with RSS feeds to Bloglines for some reason. When conveniences fail, it's annoying to have to use the inconvenient method. But, at least there is another way. And that's good.
New plans for the afternoon: the Conference Call From Hell has been postponed till next week. WOOOT!!!!
New TV: actually, it's last year's episodes of CSI on DVD...on the same ol' TV.
New allergies (?) : my head nearly exploded this morning at the store...in the bread-and-cracker aisle. I could not stop sneezing. Maybe it was the guys stocking the shelves? Oy.
New mailing list: from Thomson Gale called Funny You Should Ask. Today's oddball reference question is "Do you have a biography of Fonzie? My daughter has to write about someone from the 1950s." No, this is for real--I get questions on this level every day I'm at the Reference Desk.
New month: at the end of the week, and I'm SOOOOOO not ready for this one!
New paint: on the walls in the spare room. This explains why we have a mattress and box springs against the wall in our bedroom, and a duplicate of that in the upstairs hall. Beast is rampaging...Must Get Spare Room Finished Before Christmas. We have relatives in town, but they will be staying at my niece's most of the time. He's just being OCD. That's not new. [Hiya, Beastie!] What color? Blue, of course. The name of the color is "Blue Stemware." Whatever.
New food for the guinea pig: he hasn't had any fresh stuff except carrots and apple cores for weeks. Poor thing. He's not exactly wasting away...
New T-shirt: from D'Iberville. Some of the people we were in MS with in June went back last week. They brought us back shirts the DVF is selling to volunteers as a fundraiser. They are purple. I will wear mine with pride.
