I mentioned last week that Thursday was drop-off day for our youth group's fundraiser: balsam wreaths, roping, and so forth. The plan was to sort Thursday and/or Friday and then deliver everything on Saturday.
Except the greens didn't arrive.
The explanation? Snow. Trucks were apparently stranded in bad spots and their whole week got fouled up.
The greens finally arrived this morning...at 7 a.m. Luckily, Beast planned to take the morning off work, so he and I spent 3 hours delivering the stuff for people living outside the city limits. In the process of doing so, of course I got sap and 'tree stuff' all over my hands; one of the houses had a 7-month-old golden retriever as Greeter, so I also had dog on my hands. Which then rubbed my eyes. Which then started to itch, along with my throat.
I hate allergies.
Anyway. Beast is hanging our roping now and I've showered off the allergens. I still have a headache, though. Stupid immune system.
