Foo-ball

It's bad, very very bad, when the commercials during Monday Night Football are funny and the game is making me cry.

Wait for the end of this one....
This kid? I live with him. I'm barking with laughter.

Then again, the game has been really stupid, too: both coaches are going to murder a couple of idiots on their teams after the game. Thank goodness they're entertaining, since Joe Thiesman is (somehow) keeping his stupidity in check.

This just in: Brian Urlacher (at left, of da Be@rs), one of the most overrated players in the NFL (IMHO), may not be able to play next weekend because he's got a sprained big toe. I was going to say he is the biggest weenie on the field, but he is superceded by his quarterback (link to QB stats).

Best part of the actual game so far has been the bizarre presence of Christian Slater in the broadcast booth. Dude. I'm happy now.

And yeah, remember: don't fruit the beer.

We're up to 7 sacks for the first half alone. I think there will be a record set tonight. However, I won't be watching. It's painful, like listening to a beginning violinist. No, I think I need to sleep more than I need to increase my pain quotient.
