I forgot to take my allergy pill yesterday morning. On those days when I don't follow the routine (toast bagel, and get out plate while waiting; put meds on plate before walking back to toaster), I sometimes forget.
At noon, while doing errands, I had a little problem with tickling in my throat (warning sign, but not a scary one, for asthma). I couldn't stop coughing. Got home, having bought something to drink to soothe my throat. It worked so well that I forgot to grab the Allegra.
Finally, at about 7 last night, after sneezing for about 10 straight minutes and blowing my nose about 12 times, I took two Benedryl. That way I won't mess up the schedule for the Real Stuff.
By 7:45 I could barely see straight. I was cleaning up the code for the sidebar on Sweet Memes, and literally couldn't see it. I ended up having to do it twice, because I'd deleted all the changes I'd made the first time. Normally, Benedryl doesn't hit me like this, but I must have been tired last night.
Mumbled goodnight to Beast at 8:30, brushed my teeth, took off the shorts I was wearing, crawled into bed with my crossword, looked at about 5 clues, and realized I was, for all intents, asleep already.
Fast forward to 12 hours later: I've been up since 7:30 or so. I've eaten breakfast, read part of yesterday's paper, and surfed the net for awhile. I just looked at my right hand and there is white stuff in the cuticle of two of the fingernails. What the heck? Cream cheese? Something really foul?
No: toothpaste residue.
