What did I accomplish today?
I took the communion bread to church, cut it up, and then was one of the servers today. It wasn't very fabulous bread this time.
We ate breakfast/lunch out at 6 Balls: $19 including tip. Sparky ate Beast's eggs and my hash browns and drank water, meaning his portion of the bill was a big goose-egg. Cheap date.
We rented two GameCube games and two movies, bought three movies, and caved in on a bunch of junkfood at Hollywood Video for total cost of $45.
Came home and posted the pictures from yesterday while we watched "Young Frankenstein."
Had grand intentions of working on LibraryThing, but instead I did all the collection development stuff I brought home this weekend. Wrote up cards, totalled how much I've spent so far this budget year. All well and good, but we haven't seen the new budget (officially) yet, broken down by subject area. So I'm sort of shooting in the dark here. The TV was tuned to ICR and golf. Beast is truly nuts: who in the world likes golf and race cars??
By the time the cards were done, Beast had grilled up some burgers--I had one with cheese, no bun, and a glass of skim milk, having finished a roll of giant Smarties during the afternoon--and I had taken a 20-minute nap at about 6:00.
We watched another Orange County Chopper while I did several sudoku and caught up on a website/forum that was recommended to me several weeks ago. Found some kickin' photos in that forum. Updated my avatar. Cleaned up my reading list on this blog. Had a nice long soak in the bathtub while reading last week's E Weekly. We're watching something about the American Revolution on the History Channel now.
It's 11:30 and I should probably go to bed. I absolutely have to get to the store. EARLY. Before everyone else shows up in the mad panic to purchase July 4 party stuff. Which is what I'm going to be buying, in part.
Basdically, I didn't do much of consequence today, and the weather was icky too.
Beast will be painting tomorrow, working on a batshelf (hee hee), and I will feel duty-bound to do SOMEthing productive, either LibraryThing, or cleaning out the pantry. In either case, thrills will abound: i'll either link to my updated 'catalog' or post photos of a tidy pantry. With labels. Because I'm that OCD.
