Two words for today: Busy and fun

I'm at work. Saturdays are usually pretty calm: I sit in the back and answer staff questions as they arise. I catalog books. I never go out in public.

Not so much today: two hours at circ, and lots of time spent trying to sort out this budget tracking thing. I think I've got it nailed and only need to do two more months and I'll be caught up. 'Course, the end of October is coming.... I've cut the amount of time-per-month I've spent down from nearly an hour to 20 minutes trying to finagle the data. Woohoo.

The only fun tidbits I can post are these two titles (unfortunately, we own neither of them): Oh, and a good quote:
"Other than telling us how to live, think, marry, pray, vote, invest, educate our children and, now, die, I think the Republicans have done a fine job of getting the government out of our personal lives." --Craig Carter
Sparky is shaking hands with Lemony Snicket as I type, so he's having an interesting day today. Tomorrow, Hunger Walk, Sparky's got youth group, I'm going to a corn maze (with my corn allergies and teenagers), and I have to go to church too. NUTS day. Can't wait for Monday when life is calmer! {to be read with irony}
