Weather: 33 degrees (feels like 28); well, weather.com says partly cloudy, but it's pretty damn sunny out for February!
Mood: Good
Listening to: Blowers
Where am I? Work for 10 more minutes
Thanks to those who weighed in on the earring question. I'll let you know what Sparky decides. Have I mentioned that I've now taken to calling him "Sparky" for real, and he's not thrilled? heh
Everyone here is in a tizzy because we've been tagged. As in gang tagging. It's somewhere inside the building--it was; the custodian has apparently removed it. I don't know where, but it couldn't have been very big. The police came and did a report. Apparently we know who the tagger is--something about him being on the 'net and blah blah blah--so there's a library APB out on him. I'm just keeping my head down because I don't want to know if we used SAM (our internet portal or whatever) to figure this out. Isn't that against our Code?
Sigh. More evidence that kids are goofy, and so are adults.
On a lighter note, rodent sightings have ceased for this year.
The city tore a house down yesterday across the street from the library. One day, POOF! OK, more like BANG! CRASH! CRUNCH! A houseful of memories, gone. I didn't know the former owners, never was in the house, but it was a decent turn-of-the-century (the last one) house. I sure hope no one puts up what I call a 'tract house' or ticky-tacky. Whatever is built, it won't fit in the neighborhood.
Then again, the library is surrounded by houses and one small apartment complex (like 3 buildings, 12 units total). WE don't fit in the neighborhood!
Time to go. I don't have to cook dinner tonight!
