Reading in bed, in the morning, how luxuriant! I finished one book, worked on another, and still had time to make pancakes for breakfast. Haven't done that in months and months (never at all in this house).

I've also been browsing through Smithsonian Journeys. The people who send me this kind of thing are evil; now I'm desperate to got to Rome and Florence (again), Egypt, Venice, St. Petersburg, Kenya/Tanzania...

Instead I'm going to the grocery store and Home Depot.
